Please patch your Dell computer
Dell has identified a security vulnerability in a driver installed on Dell computers going back to 2009. The fix is simple, and we strongly encourage you to follow the steps in this article to remediate this problem on all your Dell computers (office and home).

This vulnerability can allow a malicious actor who has hacked into your computer to gain administrative rights.
I don’t have a Dell computer, what should I do?
Encourage your friends and family with Dell computers to follow these steps. There is nothing you need to do on non-Dell computers.
Is there another benefit to running “Dell Command | Update”?
Yes. It will install other critical updates that can improve the operations on your computer.
I just installed Microsoft patches. Am I done?
No. Microsoft installs patches to Windows. You need to run Dell Command | Update to update the Dell drivers and BIOS on your computer.
