IMPORTANT!
Please note the following prerequisites to resetting your own password:
- Your organization must allow personal password resets. If you are not sure about this, please contact your supervisor, or HDF.
- Your organization must have SMS Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled on your account. If you are never prompted to enter a code texted to your phone to access your Microsoft 365 account, then you probably do not have SMS MFA enabled, and therefore cannot reset your own password.
- You MUST use a unique, never before used password for your M365 account. Your obligation to your organization to keep your data safe requires that you not re-use a password that you have used for any other account.
